2 Day PV Design Engineering Documentation Class

Design Drawing (Residential & Commercial)
Feasibility Reports
Schematic Design
Construction Administration
System Calculations & Modeling

This course is for Solar Project Engineers needing to learn how to produce high quality feasibility reports, drawings and specifications for small to large grid-tied PV systems, including power stations and megawatt solar farms. Such documentation is frequently desired by architectural design teams, engineering firms, developers, and discerning property owners. This class will cover design engineering, design drawing development, creation of feasibility reports, and construction management.

Learning Objectives:
• Perform accurate calculations for grid-tied photovoltaic systems from 1 kW to multi-MegaWatt.
• Produce photovoltaic feasibility reports.
• Produce PV system design drawings and specifications using the theory, techniques, and sample drawings received in class.
